Company History:
Spare Wise was originally created as an independent trading name in 1992 as part of its parent company Sharpe Appliance Spares, gas spares stockists. A friendly, family run company originally based in and around Malvern in Worcestershire, later moving to Leaton Knolls, near Shrewsbury in 2015.
The move also heralded a shift in the company’s focus, and as problems with the quality of drinking water in some parts of the country increased, it became evident that we needed to give a higher profile to water treatment. From 2015 Spare Wise has evolved to become the core of our business.
In 2022 the new Spare Wise website was created to reach out to a wider customer base and help you choose a product in a broad and evolving market. We take pride in our knowledge, one-to-one customer service and continued support. If required, we can inform you when your filter requires replacing and keep you up to date with changes in technology, making sure that you always have a product that suits you.
Our knowledge on the many aspects of domestic drinking water treatment has been accumulated over more than 30 years and is hard to match. We are confident that we can offer help and advice on many technical systems including ultra-violet treatment for private supplies and reverse-osmosis.
